In order to keep all the kinfolk in order, I turned to a computer program, Brother’s Keeper. I devised a scheme to give each relative a reference number so I could tell how I was kin to everybody. I started the numbers with my eldest child, Daphne, and used a variation of the German ahnentafel system to identify everyone. About ten years down the road I stopped adding more numbers to cousins as it got too confusing. At any rate I decided that I would write several books and name them all Daphne’s Kinfolks. This is Volume One
